2026 National Symposium Travel Information
The 2026 National Symposium will be held at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center in East Lansing, MI. This hotel and conference venue is on the campus of Michigan State University and is a lovely location for our Symposium.

Hotel Accommodation
As of June 10, 2026 The Kellogg Hotel is sold out for most nights of the Symposium. The Graduate room block only has a handful of remaining rooms (and the hotel itself is entirely sold out on Monday night). It's worth checking to see if a room is available at The Graduate but we anticipate the block selling out at any point.
For nearby hotels, we suggest that you check out these nearby options. PPA does not have a room block at any of these hotels but all are about a 15 minute walk to the main conference location.
- Hyatt House Lansing / University Area (approximately a 15 minute walk to the Kellogg Center)
- AC Hotel Lansing University Area (approximately a 15 minute walk to the Kellogg Center)
- The Marriott East Lansing at University Place (near The Graduate and several restaurants, approximately a 15 minute walk to the Kellogg Center)
The Graduate
A small number of rooms have been held at The Graduate East Lansing hotel for Sunday - Thursday nights, as we anticipate the Kellogg Center will sell out on peak room nights. Rooms are $149 per night (plus taxes and fees). While the Graduate is a modern hotel with more spacious rooms, please note that transportation will NOT be provided between the Graduate and the Kellogg Center. You will be responsible for your own transportation to the Kellogg Center for all PPA functions. It is a 15 minute walk between the two venues.

Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center
The primary hotel will be the Kellogg Hotel. Kellogg has a range of rooms available with prices from $144 per night (plus taxes and fees). Please note that standard rooms at the Kellogg Hotel are quite small (the bathrooms are small as well) but comfortable and well maintained. If you are traveling with multiple people per hotel room or need additional space for ease of navigating the room, please look at the other room types Kellogg has available. Our room block includes multiple room types and rates so you can select what works best for you. You can find details on each room on their website.
The PPA’s special rate for general attendees covers the nights of Sunday, July 26 - Thursday, July 30. If you would like to book any nights outside those dates, please contact the Kellogg Hotel directly at 517-432-4000 or email [email protected]. Please mention that you are attending the PPA symposium and provide block code 1226 to book Standard Double, Standard Queen, Standard King, or Deluxe King or provide block code 3896 to book Corner King, Luxury Double, Luxury King, or Accessible Rooms.

Parking: The clearance in the parking ramp is 7’. If a vehicle is unable to enter the ramp you can park in the outside parking lot to the south of the ramp. As of publishing time, parking is $15 per night.
Dining & Local Area
Dining options near the Kellogg Hotel are very limited.
During registration you can select a meal ticket, which will include breakfast and lunch on both Tuesday and Thursday at the nearby campus dining hall, , which is across the street.
The Kellogg Hotel also has a restaurant, The State Room.

Travel
The nearest airport is the Lansing, Michigan Airport, located approximately 7 miles from the Kellogg Center. Rideshare and taxi services are available from the airport and details can be found on the airport website.
